What should I do if my sofa bed cover has wrinkles after unpacking?

It’s normal for fabric to have wrinkles after being vacuum-packed. These should naturally reduce over few days, but if you prefer a quicker solution, we recommend using a hand steamer to gently remove the wrinkles. A few passes with the steamer should leave your sofa bed looking smooth and fresh.

What sizes are available?

KOTA offers sofa beds in king, queen, double and single sizes, along with a pouf.

Bed sizes are the following:

King-size: 180 x 200 cm
Queen-size: 160 x 200 cm
Double-size: 140x200 cm
Single-size: 100 x 200 cm
Pouf: 100 x 200 cm

How are KOTA sofa beds delivered?

The king and queen-size sofa beds are delivered in two boxes, each weighing a maximum of 20 kg, making them easy to transport. The single-size and pouf sofa beds are delivered in one box, also weighing up to 20 kg.

How long does delivery take?

Delivery within the EU typically takes two weeks. KOTA provides free shipping and returns, so you can shop with confidence.

Can I track my order?

You can track your shipment using the same tracking code provided in your confirmation email. For orders within Finland, use the Finnish Post website; for orders elsewhere in Europe, use the GLS website.

Will the shipping company contact me?

Our shipping partner is GLS, and they unfortunately do not make pre-calls before delivery. If you’d like to adjust the exact delivery date, you can contact your nearest GLS Parcel Shop using the tracking codes provided in your delivery confirmation email.

What happens if I am not home when they deliver my order?

The courier company GLS will take the shipment to the nearest GLS Parcel Shop from where the shipment can be picked up with the shipment tracking codes provided in the delivery confirmation email.

Can I change the delivery date?

Yes, you can. If you haven’t placed your order yet, you can include a note about your preferred delivery time in the 'Extra Information' field (located below the delivery address fields in the shopping cart).

If you’ve already placed your order and are unsure whether you'll be available to receive the shipment, you can contact Finnish Post (for customers in Finland) or your local GLS customer service with the shipment tracking codes that were provided in the delivery confirmation email.

I received some of my order, where is the rest of the products?

No need to worry - our shipments usually have multiple boxes and it is quite common that independendent boxes, even they are shipped at the same time, arrive separately. You should expect the second box arriving within the next 1-2 days.

Is there a warranty?

Yes, KOTA offers a 2-year warranty on all sofa beds, providing additional peace of mind for customers.

How comfortable are KOTA sofa beds?

KOTA dual-layer mattresses include 15cm base layer categorized as 'Firm', combined with 4cm memory foam layer that adapts to individual body structure providing comfortable sleeping experience.

Are the covers removable and washable?

Yes, the covers are removable and machine-washable at 30°C, making them ideal for families with children or pets. You can easily swap out covers to refresh your sofa bed’s look.

What colors and fabrics are available?

KOTA sofa beds come in various colors, such as light grey, terracotta brown, ocean blue, off-white, and chanterelle yellow. The fabrics are eco-friendly and highly durable, with a Martindale rating of over 100,000 rubs.

Is assembly required?

No assembly is required. The vacuum-packed sofa beds are ready to use after a simple dress-up procedure. Please see instruction video in the videos section.

What is KOTA’s return policy?

KOTA offers a 90-day risk-free return policy, where they cover the cost of delivery and pickup with a shipping company. You can confidently buy without seeing the product in person.

What happens if my order arrives damaged?

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us immediately with photos of the damage and packaging. We will arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate.
